“Stranger Ev’rywhere; A Blues Musical”
This is an adaption of one of the stories in my novel The Blues Ain’t Nothin’: Tales of the Lonesome Blues Pub. I perform this with Chicago Blues Hall of Fame artist (and Columbia College graduate) Liz Mandeville. We’ve performed it more than 25 times since its debut in 1998.
Please contact me if you’d like us to perform it at your venue, business, school or charity event. Fee is reasonable and negotiable.
Venues have included: annually in October for 6 years at the B.L.U.E.S. music club in Chicago; Bloomtrail High School; Chicago Blues Fest – an off-site event; Simply the Blues Festival (a lovely festival that is no more); the Something Wicked Bookstore (a lovely bookstore that is no more); 5 Borders bookstores in metro Chicago, the World Horror Convention: Chicago (2002), and multiple times at Columbia College-Chicago.
